Toddler raped at SeaWorld, Michael Grzybowicz being held without bail: Florida police

Saturday, February 26, 2011

A family trip to SeaWorld turned into a nightmare for two parents after a man allegedly raped their 2-year-old daughter and saved pictures of the horrific crime on his cell phone, authorities said Friday.
Michael Grzybowicz, of Cocoa Beach Fla., has been held without bail in the Brevard County Jail since Saturday.
The 26-year-old allegedly molested the child Feb. 17 while her parents were on a ride. He had gone to the Orlando amusement park with the family, and the little girl's mother had asked him to watch the child, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.
It is not clear how the parents know Grzybowicz.
The crime was discovered after photographs of the alleged rape were found on the suspect's phone. He had e-mailed the photos to his personal Yahoo account.
The four photographs found on the phone clearly show the violation of the little girl, who was wearing diaper and a yellow sun dress while riding in a stroller, according to records.
Grzybowicz, a cook at a restaurant in Melbourne, told investigators he didn't know how the photos got onto his cell phone, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
The girl's mother told authorities she had left her daughter alone with Grzybowicz for about 10 minutes while she and her boyfriend went on an amusement ride.
"Nothing is more important than the safety and welfare of our guests, and our team members are trained to report any kind of suspicious behavior," Sea World said in a statement. "Illegal behavior of any type is not tolerated at our parks. Our thoughts are with the family at this very difficult time."
Grzybowicz has been jailed since Saturday on charges of possessing child pornography.
Cops are looking into the possibility that Grzybowciz had molested another child under the age of 12 in case unrelated the latest incident at SeaWorld.

Lady Gaga Born This Way Racist Lyrics?

Sunday, February 13, 2011

Hispanic and Latino groups are criticizing Gaga for her new song “Born This Way” for having what they feel are “racist lyrics”.
Arizona Latino groups Chicanos Unidos Arizona and MECha aren’t happy with Gaga’s choice of words such as “Chola” and “Orient” as part of her song lyrics which the groups find perturbing.
The two words have meanings the groups find as racist and derogatory and the word “Chola” pertains to a name of Latina girls who participate in gangs. These girls are considered a stereotype by the groups and community and the use of the word is considered negative.

The use of the word by such a high profile star as Gaga carries the negativity far and is why the groups are concerned.
More controversy is sure to erupt as the song will be featured at the upcoming Grammy awards and the song’s February 13 release is sure to fuel the fires of this situation.
Gaga reportedly has yet to address the Latino organizations regarding the matter but she did use popular social networking site Twitter to speak her mind. It appears from her response she isn’t concerned about the issue so the lyrics are going to stand and fans and foes alike will be waiting anxiously to see what’s next.

Jim Jones Sued By Video Girls

Rap star, Jim Jones is in trouble with some women who are suing him for appearing topless in his R Rated music video called “Summer Time.”
Identified as Samantha Stotts and Sharie Johnson who were out having fun that day when Jones and his crew began filming the video and caught the two topless beauties frolicking in the waves. The video then ended up on YouTube where over 30,000 viewers saw it before the site pulled it for violation of their “policy on nudity or sexual content”.
The women were apparently unaware that the video recording going on that day was for a music video that would turn up on the internet. They filed suit in Manhattan Supreme Court against Jones and Sony Music Entertainment accusing both of violating their civil rights.
Stotts and Johnson didn’t realize that their appearance in the video would be mixed with other women who were stripteasers doing pole dancing and other risque doings. The video called “Summer Time” was filmed in South Florida.

BANNING (KTLA) -- Three 13-year-old boys have been arrested in the Inland Empire, after police say they admitted to raping a girl in a park playground as she was walking home from school.

Police say it happened Monday evening at Roosevelt Williams park in the city of Banning. The attack occurred just blocks from Nicolet Middle School, where the 13-year-old victim and her attackers are all students.

Authorities say the three boys grabbed the girl, fondled her and then forced her onto a playground set. That's where two of the boys held her down while the third raped her, according to police.

The girl reported the attack to school officials on Tuesday, and identified her attackers to them.

Police questioned all three boys on Wednesday, and arrested them on Thursday. Investigators say all three have admitted to the attack.

They are now being held in juvenile custody. The case is going to the Riverside district attorney's office and probation department, where officials will decide whether to try the boys as adults.

Man Fatally Shoots Wife In The Face After He Surprises Her With Flowers At Work

Friday, February 11, 2011

Four days before Valentine’s Day, a crazed Queens man yesterday waltzed into a pharmacy, handed a bouquet of carnations and sunflowers to his estranged wife, who was working the register, and fatally shot her in the face, cops said. Ex-con Alexander Figueroa, 38, shot himself dead shortly after blasting Guimmia Villa, 32, the mother of his two sons, inside Crescent Chemists in Astoria.
He fled to his apartment in the nearby Ravenswood Houses and blew his brains out. Figueroa left behind a several-page-long confession, said Queens District Attorney Richard Brown. “He beat her up just a week and a half ago at her job and told her he would kill her if she didnt go back with him,” said Villas’ sobbing pregnant sister, Yajaira, 28. “He was angry she had rejected him.”
Last Friday, Figueroa again threatened Villa, demanding to see their kids, Alexander, 9, and Nelson, 6. “A.J. [Alexander] won’t listen to me when I tell him not to call his father and tell him stuff about me,” a worried Villa texted her sister. “He says he wants to see the kids in the morning and if he doesn’t, something’s going to happen.” Figueroa never showed, but on Monday, Villa went to court to renew an order of protection, her sister said.
“My poor daughter! My poor daughter,” Reyna Villa, 54, wailed after returning from Mount Sinai Hospital Queens, where the young woman died. Villa had emigrated from the Dominican Republic at the age of 6 and had undergone two kidney transplants in the last 10 years, said her uncle, Louis Villa. “She survived twice, and look at now. She died stupidly. No reason for it,” he said. Yesterday’s tragedy unfolded at 3:40 p.m., when Figueroa entered the pharmacy on 34th Avenue with flowers in hand.
“She was at the counter working, and he pulled out a gun and shot her,” said her uncle. Figueroa, an unemployed tow-truck driver, was recorded on the pharmacy’s video surveillance system shooting Villa, Brown said. Villa had lived with her mother in the same housing project as Figueroa up until six months ago, when she moved to Flushing.
The couple was together for about eight years before breaking up two years ago.
They were in the midst of a divorce and had a volatile relationship, including a history of run-ins involving police, sources said. One neighbor recalled a raging Figueroa kicking the door of Villas’ mother’s apartment, demanding to see his children. Figueroa’s pal Donte Wiggins said, “he was always complaining that she had orders of protection that kept him from his kids.” In December 2009, the two fought over text messages and Figueroa pushed Villa and snatched her purse. He returned it two days later and was arrested.
Villa had also caught Figueroa cheating, sources said. She had an order of protection against Figueroa in Queens, which expired last month, and another in Nassau County, which was due to expire in April. “She showed us his picture and said, ‘If you see him, call the cops,’” one neighbor recalled. “He was a bad man, and it was a shame he was able to hunt her down.” In 1994, Figueroa was busted for murder and sentenced to four to eight years, the sources said. His rap sheet also included numerous prior arrests for robbery and drugs, weapons and attempted-robbery.

Actress Drew Sidora Caught On Wiretaps In Hip-Hop Exec's Cocaine Case

Actress/singer Drew Sidora Jordan has been mentioned in a federal drug case involving a variety of Baltimore men who are accused of shipping hundreds of kilos of cocaine from Southern California to Baltimore.

Charles Ransom Jr. and Ricky Brascom are allegedly the owners of Behind Da Scenes Entertainment, the label that promotes Chicago rapper Paypa.

According to the feds, Drew Sidora's boyfriend, Ransom and Brascom imported over 400 kilos of cocaine into the city Baltimore.
On the wiretap, Sidora allegedly tells Brascom that she is worried he will be arrested, after he told her law enforcement officers seized a haul of cocaine.

While Sidora has not been charged with any crime, the Baltimore City Paper say the conversations underscore Hollywood's connections to the drug business.

The men, along with local DJ Darrin Ebro, used private jets to send back over $4 million in drug proceeds.

A lawyer for Behind Da Scenes Entertainment claimed the indictment was "unfortunate" and said the lawsuit has “also affected other people in the business who have nothing to do with the two individuals under indictment.”
